On Friday, January 31, 2025, the Accounting Working Group held a meeting organized by the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce. The meeting was held in a hybrid format, both in person at the company’s office and online via Zoom.

Participants discussed key legislative changes and professional issues relevant to accountants and financial specialists.

The agenda featured presentations by the following experts:

• Ruslan Nizamov, Chief Accountant and Partner at KBK Accounting, highlighted the specifics of accounting and tax reporting for VAT under the simplified tax system (STS) in 2025.
• Ulyana Toria, Financial Director of Plaut Consulting LLC, provided a brief overview of recent changes in accounting legislation.
• Anastasia Zaitseva, Head of the Labor Law Practice at BALASHOVA LEGAL CONSULTANTS, spoke about the specifics of working with the new military record system and changes affecting accountants.
• Konstantin Shalimov, Manager of the Financial Consulting and Audit Department at Bellerage, shared common remarks from interim audit phases in 2024.

The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and provided participants with valuable practical recommendations for working efficiently amid regulatory changes.
